The project aims to design and construct a sustainable, prefabricated modular house with quick and easy assembly and disassembly. The concept is adaptable to various contexts with simple contextual modifications, providing a versatile and eco-friendly housing solution.
Key Features:
1. Sustainability:
Integration of eco-friendly materials and cost effective building technology;
Consideration of environmental impact throughout the project life cycle.
2. Modularity and Future Expansion:
The modular design allows for easy expansion of the living space in the future, providing flexibility to meet changing needs.
Standardized components enable seamless integration of additional modules, ensuring a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing result.
3. Quick Assembly & Disassembly:
Utilization of pre-cast elements for efficient on-site assembly;
Simplified construction process to minimize time and resources;
4. Spatial Configuration:
Proposed house area: 700 to 800 square feet per floor;
Project will be north-south elongated;
Entrance located on the east side for optimal orientation.
5. Environmental Considerations:
The design incorporates energy-efficient systems such as insulation, lighting, and ventilation to reduce overall energy consumption.
Sustainable water management practices, such as rainwater harvesting, will be implemented to promote water conservation.
Construction Methodology:
Pre-Cast Elements:
Factory-made footings, columns, beams, and slabs for consistent quality
